BINTANGS in Aelse

Het was gisterenavond weer feest in dr dikke stein te Aelse (Elsloo) Het begon met de Limburgse band Credo die ons alvast goed wakker deden schudden met Rock vervolgens waren we goed voorbereid voor een optreden van de (samen met Golden Earring)oudste Nederlandse rock-/bluesband de Bintangs (sinds 1961) waarin Frank Kraaijeveld (zang, bas) het enige oerlid is. Voor de rest bestaat de band uit de ervaren muzikanten Dagomar Jansen (gitaar, zang), Marco Nicola (gitaar, zang) en Burt van der Meij (drums) .Er hing nog een poster aan de deur uit 1966 waar o.a Bintangs het voorprogramma verzorgden van de Rolling Stones. Met dat de schorre stem van Frank door de speakers schalde was het publiek gelijk enthousiast en bleef het tot in de late uurtjes feest in de bluestempel van Elsloo. Achteraf helemaal onverwacht een meet&greet en fotoshoot, het verhaal achter de oude basgitaar van Frank helemaal geweldig. Zonder dat je het in de gaten had was het alweer half 2 We wensten hun een goede reis terug naar Beverwijk. Dat was wat je noemt Blues Rock . Het was niet de eerste keer dat deze geweldige band Elsloo bezocht In 1975 traden ze op in het Maasland centrum en nog een keer eerder in het jongerencentrum Utopia.

It was last night again big party in the fat stone 🤩🤩 (dr dikke stein) at Aelse (Elsloo). It started with the Limburg band Credo who already shook us well with Rock and then we were well prepared for a performance of the (together with Golden Earring) oldest Dutch rock bluesband de Bintangs (since 1961) in which Frank Kraaijeveld (vocals, bass) is the only primordial member. For the rest the band consists of the experienced musicians Dagomar Jansen (guitar, vocals), Marco Nicola (guitar, vocals) and Burt van der Meij (drums). There was also a poster at the door from 1966 where, among others, Bintangs provided the support act. of the Rolling Stones. With Frank's hoarse voice blaring through the speakers, the audience was equally enthusiastic and that atmosphere stayed until late at night in the Elsloo bluetemple. Afterwards, quite unexpectedly a meet & greet and photo shoot. The story behind the old bass guitar by Frank is absolutely amazing.:" it has not been cleaned for a long time" :P Without you realizing it was already half past 1. We wished them a good trip back to Beverwijk. For in case you were there and had no clue what blues rock was now you know, This was Blues Rock. It was not the first time that this great band visited Elsloo. In 1975 they performed in the Maasland center and once more in the youth center Utopia.
