Durham
In 2014 we visited the UK again, this time we did a hiking vacation, From Newcastle to Bowness on Solway. But first we visited Durham.
Thanks to Inspector George Gently I wanted to see the Durham Cathedral, a beauty I can tell , and there is much much more in Durham either. One day We will be go back there. We were lucky either that there was a festival going on the Brass festival. everywhere music. Loved it.

And after 2 days Durham, we went to Tynemouth , did stay there the night, and get the next morning with the train to wallsend, for the 7 days hiking trip straight through England close by the Scottish border, The Hadrians wall walk.
